Microsoft‘s latest app for iOS is a keyboard meant for getting work done. The Hub Keyboard, which launched earlier this year on Android, offers direct integration with Office 365 and a few other tricks.
Microsoft bills its Hub Keyboard as a clever way to multitask from within a single app. A built-in search feature lets you scan for Office documents and share them with other people, or just see a list recently viewed files. You can also use the feature to search for contacts saved to your phone or in Office 365.
The app is still missing a few features already available in the Android version, possibly because of Apple’s own imposed restrictions. For example, Hub Keyboard for Android can show you a list of text recently copied to your keyboard, while the iOS version only lets you paste the last thing you copied. A built-in translation feature is also absent from the iPhone app.
