We all know about the struggles of that the Xbox brand name sees in Japan. It is selling far worse than its two predecessors, neither of which put up decent numbers in the face of killer hardware like the PlayStation 2, Wii, and Nintendo 3DS.
However, the console also battles with an image that it is only for males, even in Japan. Shooters, big budget AAA killing simulators, you know the kind of games we stereotypically associate with the Xbox console. Dude bros for life!
In an attempt to battle that image and show that ladies can have just as much fun playing Xbox, Microsoft Japan recently held a party strictly for women who enjoy gaming on their Xbox consoles. No boys allowed!
Man, I bet there was even a secret password to get in!

Microsoft loaded up on cookies, cakes, Dance Central, the new customizable game controllers, and, of course, Halo death matches.
Man, that looks like fun. I wish I could have gone. Those cookies look mighty tasty.
