Minit sounds interesting. Publisher Devolver Digital is working with four developers (Kitty Calis, Jan Willem Nijman, Jukio Kallio and Dominik Johann) to sell Minit for PC and “probably” consoles in 2017.
What’s Minit? From the release we received yesterday:
Minit is a peculiar little adventure played sixty seconds at a time. Journey outside the comfort of your home to help unusual folk, uncover countless secrets, and overcome dangerous foes, all in hopes of lifting a rather unfortunate curse that ends each day after just one minute.
Sounds sort of like the amazing Half Minute Hero RPG from a few years back, but this thing looks pretty different in motion.
You have 60 seconds to live… now what?
I love these types of games, and seeing it backed by Devolver means that it’s probably the real deal. That sounds nuts, but the publisher has been kicking around for a few years now without launching a real dud in that span.
It doesn’t hurt that the game sounds wonderful and looks unique. It’ll be at PAX South this weekend, and we hope we’ll see it at PAX East in March.
