There is a new and totally awesome event in Switzerland that I caught wind of on Social media this week called The I.C.E. That stands for International Concours of Elegance, and it was held in St. Moritz this weekend for the first time. The entire concours takes place on the frozen lake at St. Moritz. While relatively small this year, the event promises to be quite the to-do in 2020, as this was simply a ‘test event’. As luck would have it, 19Bozzy92 was there to capture some totally rad video.
Despite the relatively low car count, the quality of entrant far outstripped the quantity. With a Lamborghini Miura SV Jota, handfuls of Ferraris, a Lancia 037, a trio of Stratos, and a trio of Pagani Huayras, this event was bound to attract some serious automotive talent. After watching the video, I’m now convinced that every F50 built should have straight pipes. And they should all drift on an ice course immediately.
This is exactly the kind of thing I meant when I said Ford RS200s deserved to be hooned immediately. If you buy that RS200, maybe consider taking it to I.C.E. St. Moritz in 2020. Both you and the car deserve it.
In the immortal words of Elizabeth Lemon, “I want to go to there.”
