It’s been hit after hit for the new Buick Regal. Not only did General Motors get it to look decent and throw in a hatchback, they even managed to get it to us in wagon form. Well, close enough, at least, with the faux-crossover TourX. Now we’ve got what’s probably a preview of the new Regal GS, and yeah, it’s still good.
There’s only two pictures from Autowp (via CarScoops) and they’re reportedly of the Chinese Regal GS, with darker accents, a new fascia with the familiar GS vertical chrome inlays, and 18-inch blackened wheels, which all looks really nice.
The interior appears to have red trimming, piano black dashboard accents, alloy foot pedals and a sportier steering wheel.

There have been reports of a Regal with V6 power, possibly somewhere around 310 horsepower. Considering there’s no manual transmission currently available on the existing new Regal lineup, you should probably anticipate living with an 8-speed automatic if you pull the trigger on one of these.
Of course we’ll find out more about the U.S. Regal GS eventually, but I have no clue when. When the day comes, go for one with bigger wheels, maybe.
