Last night, the Autobahn Indoor Speedway in West Nyack saw a karting smackdown of epic proportions. Readers went toe-to-toe against Jalopnik writers and Formula E race car drivers. It was nuts, and we can’t thank you all enough for coming out to be a part of the noise.
Over 150 of you showed up to chill, chat, snarf pizza and compete for a chance to win some rad Blipshift prizes. And for those of you wondering whether or not you are faster than a Jalopnik writer, the answer is yes, always yes.
Also making an appearance was the Jaguar Formula E team. Drivers Mitch Evans and Adam Carroll kicked it with us while the electric Formula E race car that will used in this weekend’s inaugural Qualcomm New York City ePrix in Brooklyn remained parked in the background. You should definitely go check out the race if you can.

Ultimately, three heroes stood above the rest with their superior lines and winning times. They were much faster than the Jalopnik writers. One was even faster than a Formula E driver! Who would have thought?
