The long lost FPS franchise Prey is returning to us in a form we’ve never seen before. No longer the Prey 2 we’ve been expecting for the last 15 years, this is a brand new game that has been built from the ground up, and Bethesda tapped Dishonored developer Arkane Studios to make it a reality.
The reveal trailer showed off a man named Morgan Yu constantly being woken from a dream state while being experimented on. He wakes up sometimes to a peaceful city skyline and other times, horrific aliens bum rush him and his shotgun.
In Prey, you awaken on board Talos 1, a very special space station. It is the year 2032.
That’s all she wrote so far. Arkane Studios promised more footage and information at QuakeCon in August. The game is in development for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
