Sony has announced plans to shut down direct access to the PlayStation Store through the PSP. An update on SCEA’s support page states that the storefront will be shutting down on March 31, 2016.
Those who wish to buy PSP games digitally will still be able to do so through the PlayStation Store’s PC website, and in-game purchases will still be available through the actual games themselves. Of course, compatible PSP games will also continue to be purchasable on the PS Vita.
You know what this means! PSP game sale the last week of March! Sony is never one to pass up a chance to hand out bargains these days.
