Rogue One fan poster is a fun throwback

What you see above is not the official poster for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but it may as well be. Marvel artist Phil Noto, whose work you’ve seen in the Chewbacca miniseries and the Poe Dameron comic, “couldn’t help” but draw something for the upcoming Star Wars spinoff, and boy is it beautiful.

All the new characters are represented, including Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), the newest badass in the growing Star Wars universe. It’s a splendid drawing and makes me wish it was something I could buy for my wall right now.

Check it out for yourself. Hey, Disney, make this available to purchase before the movie comes out! Chances are we won’t see an official poster until closer to the movie’s December release. Until then, let’s all admire Noto’s beautiful work, which has a distinct Drew Struzan vibe.
