Spider-Man domains hint at even more possible titles for upcoming solo movie

Sony is on the hunt for domains. After the BBC discovered the studio had grabbed SpiderManHomecomingTheMovie.com, several other domain names purchased by Sony have popped up, giving fans more food for thought.

According to Aint It Cool, Sony has also picked up SpiderManComingOfAgeMovie.com, SpiderManGreatnessAwaitsMovie.com, and SpiderManSuspendedMovie.com. What do they mean?!

Coming of Age and Suspended sound a little too generic to be actual movie titles, but Greatness Awaits could be something Sony goes for; I like it more than Homecoming though it does sound a little too like a Nike ad than something associated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As we said in yesterday’s post, just because Sony is snatching up domains doesn’t mean they’ll be used. This could all be one big ruse on Sony’s part to throw folks off the scent. However, with Spider-Man set to make his debut in Captain America: Civil War next month, and a solo movie scheduled for 2017, it makes sense for Sony to start picking up the appropriate assets now.
