Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness launching on June 28 with Day One Edition

Square Enix will be launching Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness on June 28 this year for the PlayStation 4, and early adopters will have access to a special Day One Edition that comes loaded with in-game goodies.

Most of these are accessories that will load characters up with passive abilities they wouldn’t usually have. Attack boosts, experience point boosts, reduced damage and magic point consumption, the whole nine yards when it comes to a max-and-mix approach to character development.

The only cosmetic addition to the game will be a new battle theme that can be set to the game, and by “new,” I actually mean “old.” tri-Ace has graciously included the incredible battle music from its classic JRPG Valkyrie Profile, giving a generation of gamers their first chance to experience it and old-timers a chance to get misty eyed when it starts blaring every time a fight ensues.
