Tesla offering free autopilot trial for Model S and Model X owners

Experience Tesla Autopilot

Try Autopilot Convenience Features and experience a stress-free commute. This one-month free trial enables automatic steering, speed, lane changing, and parking with Summon. Once your trial begins, you’ll receive an email with instructions for permanently upgrading your Tesla.

Tesla hasn’t officially discussed the existence of these trials, but Electrek got hold of the message Tesla is sending to drivers. By the way, autopilot hardware will be standard with every Model 3 though purchasing the software to utilize it will likely be an additional cost.
