Affordable Space Adventures is, in my opinion, one of the games that made the best use of the Wii U’s GamePad. You (and a crew, if you’re into local multiplayer) fly a rusty bucket of bolts around a hostile planet, managing heat, electricity, speed, noise and all sorts of stuff to solve puzzles and avoid enemies.
It’s a charming, unique game, and it also offers up a neat soundtrack that’s well worth a listen if you’re down with gaming tunes. The soundtrack was made by Game Director Nicklas Nygren with help from D Fast and Sidsel Marie Hermansen.
The entire thing has been uploaded to the Game Director’s site (sourced below), and it can be downloaded for free.
Enjoy the ambiance. The good news? Affordable Space Adventures is actually in a Humble Bundle right now. Pay at least $1, and you can get this game and a few others for your Wii U.
