People love the Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer so much that automakers have started doing their own in-house classic car restorations. There was also that Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint from last year, so it only makes sense that somebody is now reworking the iconic Lancia Delta Integrale.
Back in July, we profiled Eugenio “Genio” Amos and his incredible garage of supercars and motorsport trophies, and he gave us a glimpse of reworked Lancia Delta Integrale project. But now it’s been officially revealed, and it’s a £270,000, roughly $350,000, modernized hatchback Genio has named the Automobili Amos Delta Futurista.
According to EVO, Genio didn’t reveal the performance specifications of the car as “…he only wants to talk about his passion and nostalgia and ‘these feelings are not measured in numbers.’” What we do know is that the body has been widened with hand-beaten aluminum panels, and most of the front end is carbon fiber, with some carbon fiber panels patching up the rear end too.
The interior is reportedly inspired by the Group B Delta S4 Stradale and features a custom steering wheel and Recaro seating. As for the drivetrain, the original transmission has been reinforced, the differential is rebuilt, and there’s a new intake and water cooling system. Overall weight savings amounts to about 90 kg, or nearly 200 pounds.

It’s a full on Italian project. The design is done by BorromeodeSilva in Milan, engineering by Podium Advanced Technologies in Turin, and upholstery by Aras in Turin. The brakes are supplied by Brembo, engine internal mechanics by Autotecnica Motori, electrics by Magneti Marelli Motorsport and custom wheels by EvoCorse.
As Genio says, “If they can do it in California and England, we can do it better in Italy. We have something money can’t buy: taste.”

The car is likely biased toward the two Lancias owned by Genio, a Delta Integrale Martini 6 and Delta S4. While Genio is making a point of not diving into a barrage of performance figures, a modernization effort from someone who seems to have the references to get it right is very promising.
Also it looks absolutely incredible in green.
