In a narrow win, The Boss edged out caped heroes at the top of the box office.

Melissa McCarthy narrowly won the weekend with $23.48M, but off of a $29M budget that’s an excellent start.
2. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice slipped to second in its third weekend with $23.43M. It’s up to $296.68M domestically and $486.8M foreign for a total of $783.48M off of a $250M budget.
3. Zootopia
Zootopia took in $14.35M in its sixth weekend to bring its domestic total to $296M and a new global total of $852.51M.
4. My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2
The years in the making sequel, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 fell to fourth place to take in $6.42M for a new domestic total of $46.75M and globally stands at $70.85M.
5. Hardcore Henry
Hardcore Henry, the film shot in the style of a first person shooter game, took in $5M to land in fifth place.
