I’m so old that I can remember when the Fast and the Furious movies were about street racing, or at least cars, tangentially. The latest trailer for The Fate Of The Furious (not The F8 Of The Furious, which we all think is a missed opportunity) just dropped and the only thing it’s about is pure, unfiltered mayhem.

What can we expect from this? Dom Toretto is the bad guy! Charlize Theron is an evil super-terrorist! Fiat Chrysler still ponies up for product placement! Things explode! Kurt Russell is back, and that’s good!

I’ll still pay to see this but I doubt it will be as good as Tokyo Drift. Then again, few things in life are.
