The Infiniti Prototype 10 Would Be the Perfect Car for Misanthropes Like Me

I know that Infiniti’s Prototype 10 probably has an extremely slim chance of becoming real, but damn do I want it to manifest into a production version. It looks utterly remarkable. Single-seater! Perfect for misanthropes like me.

As we reported earlier this month, the 10 uses design elements first seen on the Q Inspiration Concept. It’s how the automaker imagines a classic speedster would look with futuristic touches. It’s also design language that the brand wants its eventual electric cars to have.

From 2021 onward, Infiniti says that all of its new models will offer some kind of electrification, whether it be a full-on EV or some kind of hybridization. Because electric cars have very immediate acceleration and are quick off the line, the automaker wants its cars to look the sporty and sleek part.

Sure, more electric cars will be nice, but I just want this Prototype 10 thing. A slick, electric speedster that only sits one? No one would ever ask you for a ride again because too bad! There’s no room!

Also, it’s electric. You won’t need to stop at a gas station to fill up or talk to anyone while doing it. Just plug it into your garage when you’re done using it and go into the house, locking out the world behind you.

This is the dream car, folks. Just drive around with a helmet on. You don’t have to bother with anyone.
