Nintendo revealed quite a bit of news for Pokémon Sun and Moon yesterday, including its release date, starting Pokémon and even a brand new gameplay trailer.
Nintendo of Japan and The Pokémon Company then got together to release the video you see at the head of this post. It’s a commercial that’s more than two minutes in length, and it blends a very short story with new gameplay footage from Sun and Moon.
It’s actually pretty fantastic, and you don’t need have an understanding of Japanese in order to figure out what’s going on. That bit is definitely awesome, and this commercial would easily work in regions beyond Japan.
Pokémon Sun and Moon is the first in the series to take place in an area influenced by the U.S.A., and it is set to launch in North America on November 18, 2016. We’ll have more on the game as it comes.
