There are two Humble Bundles running currently that have my attention on the sale site again. First, the Wii U bundle has some ridiculously good games that owners of that console should check out. Now, a new bundle has arrived that features what the Humble team has dubbed “Eye Candy.”
They’re not wrong. The pay-what-you-want bundle features three beauties at the lowest tier, three more if you beat the average an additional for $10. The games in question all feature unique art styles and design in a class all their own. Here they are.
Lowest tier (you’ll need to spend at least a dollar to get all three ):
- Human Resource Machine
- Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut
- A Boy and His Blob
Beat the average:
- Mini Metro
- Mushroom 11
- Towerfall Ascension
Pay $10 or more:
- Evoland 2
I’ve actually been contemplating Mini Metro recently, so this is a great excuse. All of these games are solid, though. Shantae and A Boy and His Blob are great modern takes on retro conventions, and Towerfall Ascension is an outstanding title for local multiplayer.
