According to at least one source, this video was shot near Tilicho Lake in Nepal, in a vast conservation area near the center of the country. Nothing here—not the vehicle, and certainly not the road—seems quite adequate.
It’s not totally clear when the video was shot. Someone emailed us earlier today linking to a copy of the video put on YouTube last week, though I later found the one embedded above that was posted over a year ago. This may or may not have been made in conjunction with a movie, though it’s hard to tell; either way crazy vid.
