Uber now integrates with your iPhone calendar

Uber announced a new version of its iPhone app on Wednesday that integrates with your iPhone calendar.

Now, if you’re heading out the door on your way to a meeting, you’ll see your calendar appointment in the lower right-hand side of the screen. If you tap that icon, Uber will search for the destination of your meeting, assuming you or the meeting organizer already entered those details and will set it as the destination. Hail a ride and you’re on your way.

“We designed the new rider app around you—and our core beliefs that time is a luxury and that the information you need should always be at your fingertips,” Uber said of the recent update and core UI changes to its app that started rolling out recently.

iOS first, Android soon

iPhone users should find the update now. Android users need not fear, Uber says an update with calendar integration with Android is coming soon.
