The PlayStation 3 classic Valkyria Chronicles is available now on the PlayStation 4 through a new and highly anticipated remastered version. The 1080p screen resolution and 60fps frame rate do wonders for the original visuals, and fans couldn’t be more excited about this new outlet to play.

Seriously — the characters in Valkyria Chronicles, even minor ones that only have written bios, all have endearing traits. Squad 7 isn’t just a faceless resource of soldiers to constantly throw at death — it’s a group of citizens from the game, each with their own story. If you like character-driven RPGs, you will not go wanting with Valkyria Chronicles.
And for the rest of the week, Valkyria Chronicles 2 is on sale for just $4.99 over at the PlayStation Store. The game can be played through the PS Vita, but you’ll need the help of the PlayStation 3 to get it installed.
