SEGA might as well have just called its latest bundle the “Humble Valkyria Chronicles Bundle,” but sadly, a bundle, by definition, can’t include just one game.
So instead, we have the Humble SEGA Strategy Bundle, a handful of its best strategy titles and the shining star of the bunch, Valkyria Chronicles. It is available at the average price tier, which sits at $5.87 as of writing, along with Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War 2 – Grand Master Collection, Eastside Hockey Manager, and Total War: Shogun 2 – Fall of the Samurai Collection.
The $1 tier also comes loaded with timeless classics, including Company of Heroes Complete Edition, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Master Collection, Medieval 2: Total War Collection, and Rome: Total War Collection. Even better is the “SEGA Genesis/Megadrive Strategy Pack,” which lands players Japanese classics Shining Force and Shining Force 2, with a big side order of “Yes, please!”
Gain Ground and Columns are also available in that pack.
If you like, the $12 tier adds Total War: ATTILA and Company of Heroes 2: Master Collection to your purchase, but I think the average priced tier will keep you busy enough for the remainder of the year.
Naturally, Valkyria Chronicles’ presence region-locks me out of this Humble Bundle, so thanks a lot for that one, SEGA. When are draconian regional distribution laws ever going to change with the times? Oh well, at least Sony doesn’t submit to them, and the game’s current-gen remaster will be released for the PlayStation 4 on May 17.
I can wait for that one instead.
