Here at TechnoBuffalo, we get to play with the latest and greatest gadgets. Phones, tablets, computers, games, and everything in between. We consider it a great blessing for this to be our job; not many get this opportunity. So from time to time, we like to take a step back and give a little back some other important issues that are near our hearts.
Part of cool thing of working with cool gadgets is working with the companies that make these products. HP is one of those companies and we got the chance to team up to donate to charities and causes that helping those in our communities. The whole project got started when HP reached out to collaborate on a new PageWide Laser printer. From there it turned into a project of giving back to charities that our staff feels passionate about.
Each member at TechnoBuffalo chose a charity that they’re familiar with and we ended up with a total of ten selections, including the City of Irvine Animal Care Center, Charity Water, Second Harvest Food Back Orange County, Alzheimer’s Orange County and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Each of these charities received a $1,000 donation.
We want to thank HP and its sponsorship with its PageWide Pro MFP printer, which made all of this possible. HP’s PageWide Laser printer that is much more cost efficient with color printing (40%), prints 75 pages per minute and is more energy efficient than previous printers. This printer can print out anything from labels, to sponsorship roles. It also works great with regular documents. It’s a great printer to consider if you’re thinking about upgrading your current printing solution.
