Wales player evades a defender with a fancy move to score a stunning goal and help spur his team to a shocking victory

Wales beat Belgium 3-1 in the quarterfinals of Euro 2016 in a shocking win that will be remembered as one of the highlights of the tournament.

They were lifted to a 2-1 lead thanks to a lovely goal from Hal Robson-Kanu, leaving Belgium with a deficit from which it could never recover.

Robson-Kanu plays for the Welsh national team and is a relative unknown, currently without a club team.

In the 55th minute, Robson-Kanu pulled off a move called the “Cruyff turn,” named after Dutch legend Johan Cruyff. Those who can pull one off in a game are regarded as especially skilled.

After making the turn, he fired a rocket of a shot.

For a player who is currently without a club team (Reading dropped him at the end of this past season), Robson-Kanu looks pretty good.

Sam Vokes also scored to double Wales’ lead and help them advance to their first semifinal in national-team history. They’ll face Portugal in that game on Wednesday.
