Watch Dogs 2 isn’t coming out until next week, but Ubisoft already has the launch trailer available this week. Trust me, the timing of releasing a trailer loaded with anti-authority sentiments and protests is not a coincidence in light of recent events.

Watch Dogs with a message
For what it’s worth, this looks like a far more enjoyable game that the first Watch Dogs. Yes, it’s colorful, has improved gameplay, and displays graphics without being held back by the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, but it also has a lead character that seems to have a purpose. Why he’s a protesting hacker, we don’t quite yet know, but I sincerely hope Ubisoft is able to build him into a character that’s acting out for reasons beyond revenge.
Watch Dogs 2 comes out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 15. The PC version is set for release on Nov. 29.
