For the past decade, if you wanted an adventure bike (read: a big bike with big suspension you could sort of ride off road) you pretty much had to decide between the BMW GS and KTM 1190 Adventure. Ducati released their first off-road intended bike last month with the Ducati Multistrada Enduro, but they have a long way to go to convince people it will compete. This video is a good start.
Ducati teased their new bikes with the words “black,” “wild,” and “pop” before the EICMA show in Milan this last November. We now know that “black” was in reference to the new Ducati XDiavel, which for some odd reason, I’m actually excited about. “Pop” referenced the upcoming Scrambler Ducati Sixty2, their entry-level 400 cc standard/cafe thing.

This video comes as the first of six in a series called The Wild Side Of Ducati. Episode one is titled “Enjoying Off-Road Adventures” and shows that the big Duc can jump and slide with the best of them.
