Watch this drone carry a human while he snowboards

If YouTuber Casey Neistat wants to make a human-carrying drone, that’s exactly what he’s going to do. In a new video posted to his channel this week, Neistat once again proved his unique brand of creativity (and crazy) knows no bounds, one-upping the other holiday-themed videos he’s made in the past.

Rudolph and his reindeer buddies might be out of the job after watching Neistat’s video, which shows the YouTuber literally being carried through the air by a drone. I know what you’re thinking: Where can I get a drone like that? You can’t. There is no commercially-available drone capable of carrying a human, so Neistat had his crew build one.

It’s absurdly dangerous, and if you’re a cynic you know the video was designed for the sole purpose of going viral. But it’s still a lot of fun to watch, and pretty surprising how well it works. That’s one drone you don’t want to see malfunction while in operation.

Neistat has pulled off similar stunts before, previously going viral for snowboarding through New York City while being towed by a Jeep.

Thanks, Samsung

The video wouldn’t have been made possible were it not for the considerable resources of Samsung, which Neistat acknowledges at the end. Corporate branding in popular YouTube videos certainly isn’t new and Neistat hasn’t shied away from his love for Samsung products.

It goes without saying that there should be a “Don’t try this at home” disclaimer, but: DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME.
