What better way to celebrate the weekend than to watch someone cutting a gadget in half? I know: watching someone cut a gadget in half using water. A video from YouTube channel “Cut in Half” shows just that: an iPhone 3GS getting sliced in half by an OMAX waterjet.
I’ve never heard of OMAX, so I looked it up quickly. The waterjets are apparently used for precise cutting in a variety of industries “from NASA to NASCAR.” It’s capable of cutting all grades of steel, titanium, aluminum, copper, brass, glass – basically anything you’d find in an iPhone. And, as you’ll see in the video below, it does so quite easily. Funniest part is watching the dude try to stick the sliced SIM card back inside.
I don’t know why people do this, or why I enjoy watching it. I should seek help.
