Complete your home theater experience by adding this VIZIO 5.1 Soundbar to your cart, today. Better still, it can act like a Chromecast and you can stream music directly to it.
The satellite speakers themselves aren’t wireless, but they do plug into that wireless subwoofer, meaning you can usually run the wires behind a sofa, and don’t have to run them to the front of the room where the TV is located. Our own Shep McAllister has had one of these systems for years, and loves it.
Listen, the audio coming directly from your awesome thin TV is probably pretty bad. And if you really want to watch those marvelous MCU movies, you should definitely buy a sound system.
Just remember, this is a Gold Box deal. Which means this price is only available today, or until sold out (and there’s a pretty good chance of that.) This model comes with free returns, a 30-day manufacturer warranty, and a 90-day Amazon warranty for double the protection. So, there’s really no risk.
For just $30 (compared to the $69 Apple would charge), this 61W USB-C charger from RAVPower will charge your laptop (and anything smaller than a laptop) just as quickly as Apple’s 13″ MacBook Pro charger.
And oh yeah, it also has a bonus USB charging port so you can plug your phone in too. It’ll sap a little bit of wattage from the USB-C port, but you could still comfortably charge almost any two devices at once with this thing. Today’s price is $6 less than usual, no promo code required.

Just add two, four, or six eligible candles to your cart, and use promo code SEASON19 to get half of them for free. Six ought to get you through to winter scent season.

Having tools in your household is pretty important, even if you’re not that savvy at-home repairs and construction. At a minimum, a screwdriver and tape measure are always good to have on hand. If you require a lot more tools than the absolute basics, Home Depot is having a huge sale on DEWALT tools and accessories today. You can scoop up savings of up to 45% on select DEWALT products.
You can get 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit (pictured above) for $239 off. Other DEWALT products included in this sale are electric air compressors, site tables with saws, screwdriver bit sets, waterproof work boots, and more.
You might not have heard of Kyoku, but we found their Daimyo damascus steel chef’s knife to be a joy to use, and incredibly beautiful to look at to boot.
Now, you can save $20 on the blade with promo code KYOKUGOA, bringing it down to $80. If you’re still hacking away at onions with the dull, chipped knife you bought back in college, this will completely change the way you cook. And since sharp knives are less prone to slipping, it’ll be safer to use too. You don’t want to cut your finger off, do you? No? Buy this knife.
This $3 taco holder seems nice, and it solves a real problem, but even if you have no intention of buying it, take a few minutes out of your day and go read the reviews. As our deal researcher, Corey, put it, “reviews on that make me feel like it can cure cancer.”

These normally sell for $6 or more, so don’t miss your chance to take a bite out of this deal.

For a low $30, you can make stew like a pro with this Bella Pro Series 10-qt. Stainless Steel Slow Cooker. Everything good in life involves a slow cooking process and man, it’s almost (is?) fall so this is the perfect time to invest in a brand new, family-sized 10 qt. model.
Instant Pots are flashy, and fast and all the rage nowadays. But this is a solid alternative to that and it’s just $30. I love making a pork shoulder with my slow cooker and with this… well, I can buy bigger chunks.
*chef’s kiss* What a deal.
Govee might not be a brand name that you’re familiar with, but they’ve been making great strip lighting products for years (I have a few in my own home), and make a bunch of other affordable smart home gear as well.
Today only on Amazon, a few of those strip lights are on sale, plus various smartphone connected sensors that can detect water leaks and measure the humidity and temperature of your home. If you have a bathroom with poor ventilation, a baby’s room, or a wine cellar that you’re worried about getting too humid, these can ping your phone when you have to take action.
But, let’s be honest, you’re just going to buy the strip lights. $21 gets you a 16.4′ strip that you control with your smartphone, or $23 will get you 32.8′ that you control with an included remote. Both are excellent deals.
Do you use paper towels? Laundry detergent? Ziploc bags? Assuming the answer is yes, you stand to save money from this limited time Amazon promotion. Just spend $50 on household essentials on this page, and you’ll get $15 off at checkout. Just make sure they’re all shipped and sold by Amazon.com directly to be eligible.

That also goes for this facial cleanser, which happens to be half off at Ulta, today only. It won’t strip your skin of its natural moisture, and it helps calm down irritation. Plus, it’s available in festive limited-edition packaging, so get yours today before this deal washes away.

Time to get wine drunk and download a copy of My Drunk Kitchen: A Guide to Eating, Drinking, and Going with Your Gutby Hannah Hart. Right now, Kindle users can get the book for $3. Hopefully, this cookbook can help you cut back on buying pizza at 2 A.M., or spending $40 on UberEats to get a McFlurry and fries (me).

In one giant leap for deal-kind, LEGO’s stunning Saturn V Apollo is back on sale for an entirely reasonable $100 right now, a $20 discount from its usual price, and the best deal we’ve seen since the 2018 holiday season.
Why is it worth over $100? Well, it has 1,969 pieces (get it?), the main spacecraft is more than three feet tall when assembled, and the set allows you to simulate an entire mission, from launch to splashdown. We’re kind of bummed that it doesn’t come with a pack of astronaut ice cream for extra realism (and deliciousness!), but you can always get that at Amazon.
Before another commenter yells at me “it isn’t even Halloween, enough Christmas stuff,” sorry friend. LEGO doesn’t care. Christmas shopping starts right now. The LEGO Stars Wars Advent Calendar is 280 pieces and includes 24 mini-figures, like Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, a Porg, and more. The LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar is 305 pieces and includes seven mini-figures (obviously that includes Ron, Harry, and Hermione).
Both calendars are a couple of bucks off today, so you’ll want to get them now before they jack up the price for Christmas.
I’ve gotta say, I didn’t realize anyone had fond memories of the gigantic original Xbox controller, but Hyperkin brought it back for the Xbox One and PC for a reason, I suppose. The Duke is almost entirely faithful to the original, for better or worse, but added in a couple of small shoulder buttons to mirror the black and white buttons, and an OLED screen on the front that plays the original Xbox’s boot animation when you start using the controller. Was that necessary? Hell no. But it’s awesome.
The Duke came out last year for $70, but now it’s marked down to an all-time low $39 on Amazon in both black and green today.
If you haven’t had the chance to pre-order your Sega Genesis Mini, now’s the perfect time. Take advantage of this Walmart offer for $10 off the console bundled with 6-button Innex controller.
Relive a ton of classic games like Castlevania: Bloodlines, Shining Force and Shinobi 3 in a well-designed package.
While the re-make of the much-loved console comes with two controllers, the bundle includes a 6-button version. This is a significant improvement over the 3-button controllers available on the base system.
The console ships in a few days, so make sure to hop on this deal before it’s history.
Update: This deal ends today.
Humble is back with a scary good deal. You can fight the undead when you pick up this Humble Spooky Bundle full of horror games including INSIDE, Darkwood, Beholder 2, Butcher, Pacify, The Town of Light, and Agony.
As usual, you can pledge as much or as little money as you want (as long as it’s at least $1) to get $98 worth of stuff. If you want access to INSIDE, you’ll need to pledge $10 or more. You can choose where your money goes to between the publishers and a charity of your choice via the PayPal Giving Fund.

Deals You May Have Missed
$40 for an Xbox One controller is a notable deal any time—with few exceptions, they don’t really get cheaper than this—but it’s particularly useful this week. For, you see, come Thursday with the release of iOS 13, you’ll be able to use this controller to play games on your iPhone, your iPad, and even your Apple TV.
Update 2: The game is back in stock at GameStop! Might as well add the amiibo while you’re there, since you’ll get free shipping.
Update: The game is sold out, but the amiibo is still in stock, for now.
Well here’s a surprise. Just a few days before release, Amazon got more Dreamer Editions of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. This has been out of stock for months, and includes the game and a limited edition art book for $70, and it’ll almost certainly sell out again in short order. Shut up and take my rupees!
GameStop also has the incredibly adorable Link’s Awakening Link amiibo back in stock. You’ll just need to spend $50 to get free shipping.
It doesn’t come with an art book like the elusive Dreamer Edition, but if you just want to get a standard copy of Link’s Awakening, you can order it from Rakuten today for $50 with promo code DS9. Just note that you’ll have to be signed into a Rakuten account for the promo code to work.
How cool is this? The original Oregon Trail on its very own retro handheld, now just $13. I recommend keeping it in the bathroom so you can play it whenever you’re dying of dysentery.
American Eagle is giving you a great reason to shop this week. Through Thursday, if you spend at least $60 on the site, you’ll get $15 off your order. But that’s just the beginning. Shoppers can also take $20 off orders of $80 or more, and $25 off orders of $100 or more. Not to mention, all jeans on the site are 25% off for a limited time. So use promo code GIMME20, and stock up on clothes, swimwear, underwear, athletic wear, and anything else you want to wear.
The flashlight on your phone is fine for stumbling to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but for any situation where you want to see more than a few feet in front of you, it’s worth investing in a dedicated torch.

Anker’s upgraded LC40 now features a rechargeable battery (can you believe Anker ever sold one that didn’t?) that can run for up to 50 hours on low power mode, or for six with the light’s brightness maxed out at 400 lumens Of course, it recharges over USB (even from a USB battery pack, natch), and its IP65 rating means it can stand up to the elements. It normally costs $20, but they’re putting it in the spotlight this week with a discount to $17.
If you don’t need a rechargeable battery, the 300 lumen LC30 runs off AAA batteries, and is on sale for just $10 after you clip the coupon code on the page.
Amazon’s in-house Goodthreads brand is always affordable, but for a limited time, a selection of its men’s shirts are even cheaper than usual.
I own a couple of their shirts (including this chambray, in a different color), and they’re both really great quality for the price. Today, you can save on fall flannels, classic Oxfords, fashionable dobby shirts, and a lot more. Most of the shirts are priced under $25 right now (you’ll have to select your size to see the final price, in many cases), so you won’t have to lose the shirt on your back buying them all.
Note: Many of the shirts are available in multiple colors, but not all of the colors are on sale.
If you don’t care to have LED lighting built into your bidet, or just don’t want to wait to make the long overdue switch from wiping poop off your butt with dry paper (sorry to be crass but that’s what we all do, it’s insane!!), Bio Bidet’s already-released Slim Edge bidet is on sale for just $26 today, with Prime shipping.
Like the upcoming Glow, it includes two nozzles (the other’s for feminine cleaning), brass fittings, and a slim, easy-to-install design. Trust us, your tush will thank you.
Choosing to invest in a standing desk is a big commitment, so don’t commit. Instead, become a fair-weather desk stander with the Halter ED-257, now down to $60 in the cherry wood color, or $53 in black—some of the lowest prices we’ve seen. This desk comes pre-assembled; all you have to do is place it atop your existing workspace, and switch off between sitting and standing to your heart’s (and your legs’) content. But this isn’t a standing offer. In fact, it likely won’t be up for long.
No kitchen is complete without a classic KitchenAid stand mixer, but admittedly, they can be a bit bulky. Hence why you should take advantage of this deal on its little sibling, the KitchenAid Artisan Mini, now on sale for just $200, in a ton of colors. It’s 25% lighter than the regular sized version, but compatible with all the same attachments. Plus, aw, it’s so cute!
Urban Outfitters wants to outfit your urban (or suburban, or rural, whatever) home for less. Right now, take up to 40% off bedding, decor, furniture and more, all of which possess that hip and cool flair that Urban has come to be known for. Go as big as a whole new bed frame, or as subtle as a few unique accent pieces; either way, you’ll be getting a good deal.
Say goodbye to Hot Girl Summer and put away all of your outdoor gear in this discounted 16-gallon Sterilite Footlocker. For a low $20, you can store tons of sporting and camping gear in this sturdy footlocker. Better still, it’s got wheels so moving it around is a breeze. It measures in at 31 1/4″ x 17 5/8″ x 13 7/8″.
I, for one, suggest you get two: one black and one teal (which is a few cents cheaper, btw.) It’s an easy way to visually separate what’s in each footlocker, and you get free shipping.
Every year, Stella Artois sells charity chalices to benefit water.org. This year’s models feature gold leaf trim and etchings designed to celebrate Mexico, Peru, and Tanzania. Plus, for chalice sold, Stella Artois will donate five years of clean drinking water to someone in need in the developing world. So why wouldn’t you buy all three for $16?
If you want the durability and lifetime warranty of Anker’s PowerLine II charging cables, but you own a lot of different devices, this $11 microUSB cable (with promo code ANKER8436.) includes Lightning and USB-C adapters attached to the end. It’s a little awkward looking, but it’s nice to know you’ll always have the right cable handy.
Audio Technica’s venerable ATH-M40x headphones (along with their larger M50x sibling) are our readers’ favorite wired headphones, and you can try on a pair for $79 right now, about $20 less than usual. It might be a little bit of a stretch to buy wired headphones in 2019, but between the M40x’s build quality, comfort, flat tuning response, and widely lauded sound quality, they’d make for great office headphones, where Bluetooth isn’t as big a deal.
This isn’t your typical soda can-sized Bluetooth speaker that can sort-of fill a medium-sized room with sound. No, the Anker Soundcore Motion+ is a 30W behemoth. An absolute unit. And with Hi-Res audio certification, it isn’t just loud; it sounds great too.
Of course, the Motion+ not lacking in features either. You get 12 hours of battery life, USB-C charging (can I get an amen?), IPX7 water resistance, stereo pairing if you buy two of them, and even the use of an app that can adjust the speaker’s EQ settings. Normally priced at $100 (and a bargain at that), it’s marked down to $80 this week on Amazon.
Not to build up your expectations, but you shouldn’t block out this deal on a classic Jenga set: Right now, the price on this game has come tumbling down to just $6 on Amazon. So start building your towering masterpiece before this discount falls to pieces.
LEGO you slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindler. You’ve got a lot of guts altering my savings plans and discounting this incredible 2812-piece Betrayal at Cloud City set.
Rebuild various scenes from the iconic Cloud City chapter in the second best Star Wars movie of all time (don’t ask.) With both a Storm IV twin-pod cloud car and Slave I, plus a ton of mini-figs, this set definitely belongs in your collection.
At $290, this $60 off its regular price and the cheapest this set has ever been. Make sure to act fast before Vader Bezos decides to alter the deal.
Cooler weather is on the horizon, so get some new gear and get ready to head outside. Right now, REI Outlet is taking $15 off orders of $100, $30 off order of $150, and $50 off $200 or more, so you can stock up on everything from outerwear, shoes, and backpacks to tents, bikes, and sleeping bags from coveted brands including Marmot, Patagonia, The North Face, and more.
There’s certainly a lot to sift through, so consider a few of our favorite things: The Marmot Minimalist Rain Jacket, Smartwool socks, Mountain Hardwear’s Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket, and The North Face Flight RKT Running Shorts are all up for grabs for less. The discount is automatically applied at checkout, so shop now and enjoy the great outdoors even more.
Rumpl’s Nanoloft Puffy Blanket is already made from post-consumer recycled materials, but now, the environmentally friendly brand is doubling down on their efforts to save the planet: Through the end of the month, when you purchase any Nanoloft blanket, you’ll receive a HydroFlask water bottle—one of our readers’ favorites—for free. Not today, single-use plastics! Here’s what else we had to say about the feature-packed blankets on The Inventory:
But unlike previous blanket iterations, the NanoLoft is filled with the company’s first ever synthetic alternative to down, made up of tiny circular clusters of fiber that mimic the properties of down clusters in that they effectively trap heat. In addition, each NanoLoft blanket is made from 60 recycled plastic bottles that’ve been reclaimed and re-spun into high-quality polyester thread; via this technique, the company projects that by the end of 2019, Rumpl will have recycled three million plastic bottles that would otherwise have ended up in landfills.
Everyone needs a good pair of jeans. If you know what I mean, head over to Levi’s, where the entire site is 40% off with promo code SCORE in an effort to get you ready for fall. The sale includes items for men, women, and kids, so truly everyone can dive into some new, discounted denim.

I am not the person to lecture anyone on what they should and should not have in their suitcase, as I am a notorious over-packer. However, if you’re like me and need all the space you can get, you need to invest in some suitcase essentials. This Pack All Compression Packing Cube, Large can help you add vital space in your suitcase. It is only $10 on Amazon when you clip the coupon and use promo code PA32DNCCLG30.
The new Apple Watch Series 5 isn’t even out yet, but that’s not stopping Amazon from offering discounts.
If you’re going the GPS + Cellular route, you can get $50 off a few different stainless steel configurations, like this one with a standard sport band (also available in 40mm), or this one with a Milanese loop. The best deal of all is this 40mm gold stainless steel with a gold Milanese loop to match, which is $50 off, with an additional $8 clippable coupon.
If you don’t want cellular capabilities, your available discounts are more modest, but still pretty surprising for an unreleased Apple product. The space gray aluminum 40mm and the silver and gold 44mm options are all $15 off.
The Apple Watch Series 5 isn’t a huge upgrade from the Series 4 (which was excellent), but it does feature a new screen technology that can stay on at all times, so you no longer have to raise your wrist or tap the watch to see the time.
Amazon’s cheapest Kindle e-reader has a front light now, making it a great choice for value-conscious readers, and it’s on sale for the best price we’ve seen for Prime members today.
If you have Prime, you’ll only have to plunk down $65 to enjoy the paper-like reading experience and access to millions of books that Kindle has to offer. This model even supports Bluetooth headphones and Audible audiobooks, so you can switch between listening and reading seamlessly.
Amazon’s Echo Show 5 was already Amazon’s cheapest Echo with a screen, and with today’s $65 deal (down from $90), it’s even cheaper.
Use it to keep up with recipes (or just watch videos) in the kitchen, or to see who’s at the front door, or to check in on your baby in their nursery, or to video chat with friends and family. And if you’re concerned about privacy, it’s also the first Echo device with a physical switch that covers up the camera lens when you aren’t using it.
And lo, Tile decreed you can replace your own batteries now, and there was much rejoicing. If you’ve been waiting on a good deal for the new Tiles with replaceable batteries, we find some good deals buried in the couch cushions.
If you just want to dip your toes in the water, you can get a single Tile Mate for $20, or $5 less than usual. The four-pack for $50 is a considerably better deal though, if you have enough uses for them (drop your suggestions in the comments!). You can also get a four pack that includes two Mates and two Tile Slims for $50, but just note that the Tile Slims don’t have replaceable batteries.

Does your skin turn a nice tomato red after only five minutes of sun exposure? You better stock up on some sunscreen now before you’re assaulted by UV rays all summer long. Thankfully, a cult-favorite Japanese sunscreen is currently on sale.

You can get a regular bottle of Biore UV Watery Essence for $8 or an extra large bottle (1.7x the normal size) for $14. The 50 SPF sunscreen is pretty literal to its name and is said to feel like water when applied to your skin.
Here’s what Shep McAllister had to say about it on The Inventory:
As far as sunscreen goes, the only thing I really knew about it was that I didn’t like it, and given the option, I would usually just opt to stay indoors until the UV index fell to around 3 or 4, or until someone invented a sunscreen pill, whichever came first.
That all changed when my wife introduced me to Biore Watery Essence sunscreen. It’s SPF 50 (the bare minimum for my needs, thank you very much), waterproof for 80 minutes, and feels like rubbing water on your skin. Cool to the touch, it rubs in effortlessly, and doesn’t come with the unpleasant smell or zincy stickiness of pretty much every other sunscreen I’ve used. About two minutes after putting it on, I’ve usually completely forgotten about it, which is a compliment of the highest order.
Have you been meaning to stop at the store all week to pick up toilet paper but you just keep forgetting? Just order it online! You can stock up with 12 count of Cottonelle Ultra ComfortCare Toilet Paper for only $6.
If you’re still wrestling with a terrible inkjet printer at home, do yourself a solid and pick up the reliable Brother HL-2390DW monochrome laser printer today for just $100 today, down from its usual $120-$140.
While it doesn’t print in color, it more than makes up for that with the ability to spit out 32 pages per minute, duplex printing, and inexpensive toner cartridges that can last for years without being replaced. We’ve posted a lot of Brother deals in the past, and we’ve heard nothing but good things from readers about them.
Today, the floodgates opened for pre-ordering the next batch of Apple’s flagship smartphones and with it, a ton of promotions from multiple storefronts.
Here’s what each store is offering:
- AT&T is offering a BOGO promotion, where if you pre-order an eligible iPhone, you can pick up a second for free. (Just a heads up, you’ll find the details under the “special offers” link in the product page.)
- Apple, Best Buy and T-Mobileoffer a maximum $550 discount with an eligible trade-in, while Verizon’s offer tops out at $500. Sprint will deduct the value of your trade-in from each installment payment via their Sprint Flex lease.Only certain phones are eligible for the maximum trade-in value and other phones will get you smaller discounts, just as long as they’re made by Apple, Samsung, Google and LG.
- Sam’s Club will send you a $200 gift card with your pre-order and activation.
- Walmart keeps it simple by offering $100 off the purchase and activation of an iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro. This offer only works with an installment plan, but luckily, there’s no penalty if you choose to pay it off early.
Amazon offering discounts on Apple products? Not too surprising. Amazon offering discounts on Apple products that aren’t even out yet though? That’s something new.
Releasing September 30, the new entry level iPad features a 10.2″ screen (up from 9.7″ on its predecessor), a smart connector for Apple’s smart keyboards (also on sale), and…not a ton else that’s new. It’s an iPad. It’s good. It’s pretty affordable. The 128GB version is the one you want, and preorders are available for $400, down from the $429 MSRP.

20 Super Nintendo games are now on the Nintendo Switch for free with your Nintendo Switch Online membership. And if you’ve got Amazon Prime, you can get a year’s worth of Nintendo Switch Online for free.

Until September 24, Twitch Prime subscribers can get up to a year of Nintendo Switch Online benefits, including online play and access to classic NES games and SNES games. Membership will also give you the ability to purchase the $30 retro SNES controllers.
If you’ve got Amazon Prime, you can sign up for Twitch Prime for free.
Here’s how it works: You can claim the 3-months membership offer now by linking your Twitch and Nintendo accounts, then come back to claim the 9-month individual membership 60 days later, once it unlocks. Just set a calendar appointment! And if you’re already an individual Nintendo Switch online member (no family memberships, sorry), this deal just extends your renewal date for free.
Back in March, Private Internet Access (our readers’ favorite VPN service) raised its prices for the first time ever. And while our readers can still get an exclusive 3-years for $99 plan, they just lowered their other plans back to their old prices for a limited time.
faThe reason this is a big deal is that you can renew your membership as many times as you want at whatever price you originally paid. Once the prices go back to normal, you’ll still be locked into the lower rate.
Here are the new (old) promotional prices, along with what you’d normally pay:
- 1 month: $6.95 (down from $9.99)
- 1 year: $39.95 (down from $71.88)
Clearly, the annual plan is the sweet spot here if you don’t want to commit to the three-year plan, but $6.95/month for 10 simultaneous connections, clients for just about every conceivable device, and servers in 32 countries (foreign Netflix, anyone?). We aren’t sure when the prices will go back up, so you probably want to lock in your account ASAP.
