There was a Lamborghini Urus parked outside the hotel where I am currently staying at for the media launch, so I can already tell you that it is very large. It has massive wheels and a tall stance. But besides that, what do you want to know about it?
The Urus, if you need a quick reminder, is Lamborghini’s first SUV offering. It’s powered by a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8, uses an eight-speed automatic transmission and pumps out 650 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. No matter what the size of the car is, that is an incredible amount of power.
Lamborghini claims that the Urus’ top speed is 189.5 mph and its zero to 62 mph sprint happens in just 3.6 seconds. It will probably cost north of $220,000. Christ almighty. On paper, it’s already beating some supercars.
I’m out driving the Urus today, but tell me what you’re curious about. Can it daily? Can it track? Off-road? Fit passengers in the back seat comfortably?
Personally, I’m excited to get to see it up close and in person, as well as listen to its engine. Lamborghinis are supposed to be dramatic and loud. I have a feeling the SUV won’t disappoint.
