‘When you rock up to the party feeling a little over dressed’ — Australian rugby star’s changing room picture with Prince William goes viral

Australia rugby union star Kurtley Beale’s photograph with Prince William had all the makings of a viral hit.

Swigging beer in the tiniest of shorts, he posed next the Duke of Cambridge, who had donned his Saturday best.

Beale’s caption, which gently mocked William, said it all: “When you rock up to the party feeling a little overdressed.”

Beale played a key part in Australia’s 29-21 victory over Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday, running the length of the pitch to score the try that sealed the win for the Wallabies.

Australia is next in action on November 19 when it takes on England at Twickenham in London.
