Last month, we got a look at two leaked Samsung wearables allegedly coming down the pipeline. Now it looks like the South Korean company may have accidentally confirmed the news after showing both rumored products on its website.
The images were briefly published on Samsung’s S Health page, and they’ve already been removed. One picture shows a pair of wireless earbuds allegedly called Gear IconX. There’s also a new fitness tracker with a built-in display, which looks like a clear follow-up to the original Gear Fit.
The new leak lines up pretty perfectly with the earlier report from VentureBeat, which included hands-on photos with both devices. The original report claimed that the new earbuds will offer fitness-tracking sensors, touch controls, 4GB of space for music and a water-resistant design. As for the Gear Fit 2, the company is expected to include GPS along with a refreshed design.
It’s still unclear when Samsung plans to officially reveal these new devices. We originally guessed they could arrive later this year but, after today’s leak, it looks like the Gear Fit 2 and Gear IconX might launch a lot sooner.
