You can start testing Night Shift for Mac right now – macOS 10.12.4 and iOS 10.3 Public Beta out now

Earlier this week, Apple gave developers access to Night Shift for Mac, a feature that will make your eyeballs very happy. Now, the public beta for macOS 10.12.4 has been released, giving more users the opportunity to try out the awesome new feature.

Originally introduced for iOS, Night Shift is important because it providers screen with a warmer hue, something that’s easier on the eyes, especially when you’re cozied up in bed with no lights on. Scientists say blue light emitted from displays can negatively affect a person’s circadian rhythm; giving your display a warmer glow isn’t as harsh.

In addition, Apple also released the public beta for iOS 10.3, which introduces a “Find My AirPods” feature. The feature allows AirPod users to pinpoint the last known location of Apple’s wireless headphones—something you’ll need when you inevitably lose them.

You can download both public betas now.
