It’s hard to go wrong with a gorgeous purple Porsche and cherry blossoms. When you’re submitting a set of photos for Weekend Wallpaper, picking a popular Porsche supercar as your subject matter usually goes a long way, but when you place it in a grove of beautifully blossoming trees, it’s an easy pick for Weekend Wallpaper.
I’ve put a few track miles on a similar purple GT3 RS at Road Atlanta, and these are so incredibly loud it feels like the high RPM tone is going to bore its way into your brain through your ear canals. It’s an over the top monster with all of the emotion and dynamism that you could ever ask for from a car, but it looks so demure and calm in this setting. It’s ready to rip at a moment’s notice, but these photos make it look too pure for this world.
