There’s nothing quite like staring in the face of a car when you get to the race track. And if you can’t be at the race track to appreciate that feeling in person, the next best thing is setting it as the background on your desktop.

This weekend’s wallpaper featuring a Porsche 911 GT3 comes from Newton Liu, who recently sent along a link to his year-ending wrap up of favorite photos from 2016. They’re absolutely fantastic, and have backdrops ranging from Circuit of The Americas in Texas to the Nürburgring in Germany.
It was a fitting thing for Newton to send along, considering that I’ll be off next weekend and this is the last Sunday I’ll be around to post a wallpaper before the new year begins. So, if next Sunday rolls around and you feel like you’re missing out on wonderful automotive photography, here’s the link to Newton’s photos to get your fill for the off weekend.
