While everyone claims to have had a Lamborghini Countach on their bedroom walls as a child, I was transfixed by Fox Mustangs and third gens. I grew up in the midwest where we apparently have more realistic dreams. In its day the third gen was revolutionary, but today it looks like a nice restrained design. Even with the tall cowl-induction hood, this Camaro looks more subdued than any of the angry-face muscle machines on sale today.
With some nice blacked out five-spokes, this straight edge and sharp corners design can shine on its own merit. It may not be the world’s best corner carver, but it looks ready to smoke you at the strip and then go cruise the boulevard to Bob’s Big Boy. Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em, friend.
