Reports right now say that, when docked, the Nintendo Switch version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild plays in 900p at 30fps. That could change between now and launch, if Nintendo manages some more optimization.
While playing the game at the Switch event in Europe, Eurogamer was told that Nintendo aims to bring Zelda: Breath of the Wild up to 1080p at 60fps when docked. Let’s hope they make that mark.
Here’s what docking and undocking the Switch looks like
Eurogamer posted a video showing the undocking process for the Nintendo Switch. It’s as simple as pulling the console out of the dock. That’s it. The switch is basically instant, you press A to resume play and off you go.
Here that is in video form.
The Nintendo Switch (and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) will launch on March 3, 2017.
